Is it time for you to work with a ministry coach?
Each month I coach pastors one-on-one by phone. It has been my joy to see pastors take the necessary steps become healthier and more effective. Email me to inquire about coaching.
Is coaching right for you? You might benefit from coaching if:
- You feel stuck in your ministry
- You are navigating conflict management and resolution in your church.
- You are trying to lead change.
- You need to develop a clear vision for the next season of ministry.
- You are in a season of burn-out
- You are fighting discouragement, and maybe depression
- You have been daydreaming about resigning and doing something else
- Your marriage and family are not in a good place
- You are having trouble making decisions
- You are working to revitalize your church
- You need accountability
What Happens in a Coaching Appointment?
Coaching appointments begin with a chance for you to report on your progress, and with a clear set of action steps you choose to take in the week ahead. In your coaching appointments you will experience:
- A system for growth
A coach will help you identify areas in which you want to grow, change, develop, and lead. Through a systematic process you'll create actions plans for progress. Your coach will help you stay on track, avoid procrastination, overcome obstacles, and take clear simple steps for growth.
- A powerful conversation
A coach doesn't have all the answers, but through insightful coaching questions, helps guide you to the right decisions. You will begin to look at your ministry from new angles, and with a new perspective.
- An authentic relationship
Many pastors are alone in ministry with no one to process with, except their spouse. With coaching you have a friend, a confidant, and a supporter who believes the best in you, and someone who will challenge you to accomplish your goals.
- A friend to hold you accountable
The missing piece of most good plans is accountability. This is where lives are changed. A coach will ask you the hard questions that will inspire you to do what you really want to do.
Are you ready to get started?
I coach pastors one-on-one through monthly one-hour phone calls. You have unlimited opportunties to follow up by email. Together we can create a plan of growth and change to get you where you want to go. I will ask you to commit to six months of coaching because change takes time.
